Coventry to host summit for in-house recruitment and HR professionals

A summit and exhibition will be held in Coventry for the first time to help in-house recruitment and HR professionals overcome challenges facing the profession.

In House Recruitment Expo (IHRE) 23 Summit will be held at Coventry Building Society Arena on Tuesday October 17 – with key topics set to include diversity, equity and inclusion, employee resource groups and the impact artificial intelligence (AI) is set to have on the industry.

Around 400 professionals who lead on sourcing and recruiting candidates for corporates and SMEs are expected to attend the summit to hear from a stellar speaker line-up.

Visitors can attend seminar and masterclass sessions led by key experts in sourcing and resourcing, with more than 30 businesses exhibiting at the event, demonstrating products and services.

IHRE23 is supported by Purple Tuesday and The Business Disability Forum and will feature a mix of speaker and panel sessions led by practitioners, covering a range of topics including neurodiversity, disability, strategic planning and accessibility.

It will be first time that the IHRE Summit has been hosted at Coventry Building Society Arena and it will be hosted in the venue’s Premier Lounge.

Organisers say that the event will reflect all the challenges which are currently facing in-house recruitment, such as improving candidate experience, onboarding talent and the changing culture in recruitment since the pandemic.

Joanna Burke, Event & Commercial Director for IHRE23, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing our event to Coventry for the first time and have worked with leading figures in the sector to produce a comprehensive programme for the summit.

“The most important aspect of the event is ensuring that in-house recruitment professionals are up to date on the latest developments in the industry, whether that is diversity and inclusion, or the impact that artificial intelligence could have.

“We attract people from all over the country to this event, as they seek to network with their peers, understand best practice and learn about new products and services which will help them find the best candidates and achieve organisational objectives.”

IHRE23 Summit is also supported by Personnel Today, On Rec and SME.io. The event is free to attend for corporate recruitment, HR and DEI professionals.
