Coombe Abbey gearing up for another busy Christmas as plans are unveiled

Coombe Abbey Hotel has unveiled its Christmas events packages for 2023 – with plans already being drawn up to accommodate huge corporate demand over the festive period.

Over 12,000 guests partied at Christmas events at Coombe Abbey in 2022, and medieval-inspired feasts and afternoon tea with carols are all set to return with hospitality bosses expecting another bumper year for corporate Christmas bookings.

Increases in room reservations, dinners, afternoon teas, Christmas parties and New Year’s Eve bookings made 2022, it was one of the most successful festive periods in the hotel’s history, and now the venue is gearing up to play host to a region in search of a good-old fashioned Christmas knees-up as well as classy work functions.

City centre venue St Mary’s Guildhall will also be joining the party this year, bringing festive cheer to Coventry in a one-of-a-kind historical setting with No Ordinary Hospitality laying on a range of packages to suit businesses and parties of all sizes.

Corporate packages range from private Christmas parties from 10 to 500 people including a welcome drink, three-course meal, wine, a dancefloor and DJ – to private dining or private room hire for more flexible celebrations and gatherings in Coombe Abbey’s unique banquet rooms.

Group bookings are also available on Coombe Abbey’s wide range of public events including its Festive Medieval Banquets, Festive Murder Mystery, Party Nights with Free Radio’s JD, and its popular Gatsby Ball.

The 14th century St Mary’s Guildhall offers Christmas Private Dining for up to 110 guests including canapés, sparkling wine on arrival, three course set menu, tea/coffee and mince pies to follow, and a Disco, in addition to a range of private hire options available in the Great Hall and buffets for up to 80 guests in Tales of Tea.

Last but certainly not least, two of No Ordinary Hospitality’s newest venues, Stoneleigh Abbey and IXL Events Centre, are available for private Christmas parties. As corporate business partners with both venues in two popular Warwickshire locations, No Ordinary Hospitality can help to tailor functions of all sizes to suit a range of needs.

Kathy Nakra, Director of Sales at No Ordinary Hospitality, said: “We are thrilled to already be seeing such strong demand for our corporate Christmas packages across our venues, with IXL Events Centre, Stoneleigh Abbey, St Mary’s Guildhall and Coombe Abbey Hotel creating an incredible variety of options.

“Last Christmas was an incredibly busy time for everybody across the No Ordinary Hospitality group, and we are expecting it to be all hands-on deck again this year to accommodate demand.

“There are lots of great venues to host business functions and office parties across the region, but we feel we are unique in both the settings we can offer and the quality of experience we provide for small teams or large corporations, and we are looking forward to another festive season to remember in Coventry and Warwickshire.”
