Turbulent times provide opportunities as well causing disruption and sustainable supply chains are the focus of attention across all industries currently.
But what are sustainable supply chains? And what does sustainability mean? How can your business use tried and tested tools and methods, as well as intelligent data to minimise risk? How can you gain competitive advantage by integrating sustainability into your procurement processes and business operations?
This practical two-day workshop will explore these questions and more, providing you with resources and tools which will help you make your business more innovative, sustainable financially, as well as boosting your corporate social responsibility.

The challenges to supply chains is high on most companies agenda. The importance of creating your unique selling point has never been more current. It is well researched and documented that companies that have sustainability at the heart of their operations are likely to be more profitable and competitive.
Wylde Connections and Alliance Procurement Solutions will be working in partnership to deliver the workshops across 4 sessions. They are currently working in partnership delivering consultancy and training programmes around sustainability and procurement, helping clients to become ethical and more responsible.
Aerospace UP
The workshop is open to eligible Midlands based SME’s who are already enrolled on the Aerospace Unlocking Potential programme.
As a pan-Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) project, Aerospace UP is available to SMEs in 8 Midlands LEP areas:
- Black Country
- Coventry and Warwickshire
- Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
- Greater Birmingham and Solihull
- Greater Lincolnshire
- Leicester and Leicestershire
- South East Midlands
- Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire
State Aid
This event is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020. This event is classed as State Aid under De Minimis to participating businesses, but is delivered completely free of charge.
