Coventry and Warwickshire: Driving the Future of Transport and Logistics
Organiser
Join Serco and leaders from across the industry on Tuesday 29 September for a FREE online event and virtual roundtable discussion to consider some key areas of the region’s recovery plan in transport and logistics.
The transport and logistics sector is in a strong position but it is also facing an era of unprecedented change, as digitalisation takes hold and new technologies enable greater efficiency.
Join Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP), Serco and leaders from across the industry on Tuesday 29 September for a FREE online event and virtual roundtable discussion to consider some key areas of the region’s recovery plan.
The lack of digital culture and training is the biggest challenge facing transportation and logistics companies, so we will discuss the ideas due to re-shape the marketplace and how new smart and automated technologies could reshape the workforce.
Our group of senior figures will thrash out the challenges and opportunities faced by the industry and the ways in which firms can develop and adapt to collaborate, innovate and upskill for a more sustainable future.
You will have the opportunity to ask our virtual roundtable participants your questions and take part in an interactive discussion to address future trends, the impact of automation and driving forces in transport and logistics.
Key speakers include:
- Sarah Windrum, Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP) Board Director
- Andy Davis, CWLEP Strategy and Analytics Executive Officer
- Phil Peak, CWLEP Growth Hub Operations Director
- Brian Walsh, Serco, Capture Director for Employment, Skills Training and Enterprise
- Rob Matts, Serco, Head of Skills Support for the Workforce
- Karen Shuter, Exact Logistics Ltd, Managing Director
