Session 1 | Using Instagram and Facebook to drive sales in your retail store.
Tuesday 28th January 2020 - 5:00pm-8:30pm
Social media is an incredible way for retailers to engage with and find new customers. Consumer behaviour has changed - we live on our phones and most of that time is spent on social media. In the new retail environment customers expect more from retailers than just physical stores. They want to be able to choose how and when they shop and engage with you.
Many brands and big retailers only use social media to direct people to their online website. We explore why using it to direct people to your physical store is a fantastic and often overlooked opportunity.
This course will teach you how to use social media to talk directly with your customers, build a local relationship and drive traffic to your physical store.
- Know your customer – what platform is right for them?
- How to write a killer profile about your retail business
- How to use social media to increase footfall
- How avoid the hard sell and create posts that will entertain and excite your customer
- Why you should be using Instagram hashtags
- How to use Instagram/Facebook stories to build trust, entertain and show your expertise
- Boost your business through local collaboration
- How to find and work with influencers
- Creating targeted adverts
