Solving Manufacturing Problems with Predictive Simulation
Organiser
3 reasons to consider using simulation
- Rapidly identify the impact of making changes to your process
- Lower capital expenditure by de-risking investment decisions
- Make savings through identifying better use of resources
Here at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) we are always keen to find new ways to help you grow your business. The increased use of digital engineering technologies and onset of industry 4.0 are opening up opportunities for business of all sizes to benefit from new tools and technology. One such technology is WITNESS Predictive Simulation from Lanner. With WITNESS you can create a Digital Twin of your process to test a production plan or to predict the outcome of changes to manufacturing processes, often as a pre-cursor to investment decisions.
To help provide you with a better understanding of the benefits of WITNESS Predictive Simulation, the MTC and Lanner would like to invite you to our event tailored to manufacturing SMEs.
Why attend?
Understand how WITNESS Predictive Simulation can be used to help solve existing problems and validate future decision making. Specifically, you will learn how simulation can be used to:
- Improve your existing manufacturing process and identify problem areas
- Simulate the effect of new machinery or resource changes
- Predict the impact of changes to your product mix or production scheduling, identifying capacity issues and predicted order lead-times
At this event, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Hear from experienced Simulation experts from the MTC and Lanner about how Predictive Simulation can be used to solve problems quickly and cost-effectively.
- Find out more about an exclusive opportunity to use Lanner’s cloud based WITNESS simulation software with extensive support
- Have a 1-to-1 discussion with an experienced manufacturing engineer to see how simulation could be used to help your business
- Arrange a complimentary follow up line walk of your production facility from one of the MTC's experts - let a fresh pair of eyes help identify and agree key issues and opportunities for continuous, sustainable process improvement in your design & manufacturing processes
You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the support you can access through the Manufacturing Technology Centre.
Experienced engineers can be available on the day to discuss specific challenges you may have, if you would like us to call you to arrange a 1-2-1 discussion in advance, please provide a contact number when registering.

What previous attendees to MTC events have said...
“Attending the MTC event was very useful. Having the opportunity to see the facilities at the site, discuss the potential for matched funding for projects e.g. automation and powder metallurgy analysis, and have a one-to-one detailed meeting made this a productive event for Reynolds.” - Keith Noronha, Managing Director, Reynolds Technology Ltd
