Cyber Security for Small Businesses
Organiser
About this event
This session is designed to raise a small businesses awareness of cybersecurity threats including supply chain and cloud threats that are increasing as the Internet of Things continues to grow. The importance of a network audit, backups and robust password conventions will be shared and our Technical Director will discuss practical and affordable steps businesses can take such as evaluating the best anti-virus software for their business.
What will you take away from the session
You'll come away from this session with a deeper understanding of the cyber severity threat as well as what you can do to improve the security and resiliency of your hardware and software infrastructure. Common Phishing scams and some of the tell-tale signs will be discussed to help businesses better identify these and exercise more caution with the information shared online. Additionally, resources and support on who to reach out should your business fall victim to a cyber attack will be shared.
