The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has been working with Government departments, including the Department of Health, to explore ways to open up public sector procurement opportunities to small and start-up businesses.
The NHS spends around £110 billion per year, so we are working with their procurement team to co-host a series of regional events to help small businesses understand how they might supply into the organisation.
The event for the West Midlands is taking place at Longbridge Innovation Centre in Birmingham, on Tuesday 21 May, from 1.30pm - 4.30pm.
The NHS Procurement team will explain their procurement process and how it has changed to encourage small businesses to tender. They will also highlight their 'open for business to SME's' Procurement path.
This is an unmissable opportunity to find out more about becoming part of the NHS supply chain.
Spaces are limited and we anticipate strong demand.
To express your interest in attending, please send 3-5 bullet points explaining your business name, the products you can supply and your primary contact details to FSB’s Lesley Burgess by no later than Friday 10 May.
We will have to allocate spaces on a first come, first served and most relevant basis, so please hurry to avoid disappointment.
