We would like to invite you our event at the Radisson Blu, East Midlands Airport on 18th October from 5-7pm. Come and join us for a couple of hours of food, coffee, and conversation with no pressure to sell or sign up.

Presenting
Andrew Mair – Chief Executive, MAA
Andrew has led the work of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, which represents over 300 companies in one of the world’s largest aerospace clusters, for 20 years. He is dedicated to supporting and promoting the work of the aerospace supply chain and demonstrating why the Midlands is such a great region for developing innovative solutions to global aerospace challenges. Andrew is passionate about bringing together industry, academia and government to ensure the region maintains its competitive advantages into the future.
Annette Rothwell – Peer to Peer Networking, MAA
Ms. Rothwell is a seasoned VP level executive and board member with extensive experience in industries undergoing transformational change. She is a proven executive leader in General Management, Procurement and Supply Chain, Operational Excellence (CI) and Project Management working with senior stakeholders including regional Mayor and Government.
Since 2011, she has served as a director on the board of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, the regional body for the Aerospace, Defence and Security industry. She provides strategic review and oversight of regional business, financial and planning decisions. She also chairs the supply chain performance group supporting national initiatives and SME organisations.
Hitendra Hirani - EU Programme Manager University of Nottingham
Hitendra has played a pivotal role within the Institute for Aerospace Technology since its inception. With a background in production engineering and a PhD in Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, he uses his expertise to drive R&D-related activities focused around aerospace technologies. Hitendra’ s knowledge is widely regarded and he sits on several national and international working groups, committees and panels.
David Tetlow - R&D Project Lead P.A.K Engineering Ltd
David has a real passion for Engineering and Renewable Energy and P.A.K are currently involved with the University of Nottingham and Aerospace UP both as an SME and a sub contractor and have a very unique story to tell. P.A.K manufacture wire wound finned tube for the cooling power industry. They also supply plain tube and Ubends, and a number of oil coolers and Heat exchangers that they manufacture.
