Exclusive Interactive Business Event Showcasing Coventry & Warwickshire's Latest Technologies

An interactive event designed to show Coventry and Warwickshire businesses how the latest technology can work side by side with employees is taking shape as more leading companies sign up to take part.

“The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Why Should You Care?” has been organised by Business Solutions, the commercial arm of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s Growth Hub, in partnership with Warwick Events and Coventry factory automation specialists FANUC UK.

A number of local businesses have signed up to take part to exhibit or speak at the event.

These include The Manufacturing Technology Centre at Ansty Business Park, Infinite Pixel, a Southam-based creative agency working with virtual reality, Henley-in-Arden-based Lanner, a predictive simulation software company, Rugby-based energy solutions company Off-Grid Energy and customer relationship management firm Tisski, based in Stoneleigh.

Up to 200 invited guests, including CEOs, MDs and key decision makers and influencers are expected to take part which aims to show the advantages technology can bring to a company and its employees, helping members of the workforce to advance in their own careers.

Rather than a sit-down event with guest speakers attendees are urged to debate and exchange ideas.

During the course of the day several exhibitors will demonstrate how technology has benefited their own businesses.

Jeremy Moore, Business Mentor and Commercial Manager at the Growth Hub, said: “We are delighted to welcome more businesses on board at “The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Why Should You Care?”

“The first event of its kind in the area it is a highlight of The Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival which will see more than 100 business events in the area over two weeks.”

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is taking place this week at FANUC’s UK headquarters at the Ansty Business Park on Tuesday November 27th.

Tom Bouchier, Managing Director of FANUC UK, said: ‘’Technology continues to play a significant role in UK manufacturing and we feel it’s very important that manufacturers understand the potential positive impact it can have on industry.
