Council recommences HomeChoice service

There is some welcome news for prospective social housing tenants with the resumption of Warwick District Council’s HomeChoice service following the lifting of government restrictions on moving home.

Up to two people are now able to view the Council and Housing Association properties advertised through the scheme, but will be required to follow strict social distancing guidelines.

Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Housing Services, Councillor Jan Matecki commented;

“The decision to recommence our HomeChoice service has only been taken following much work by our housing team to ensure that all appropriate measures are in place to protect the health and safety of those viewing and moving into our properties and our staff. There are a number of high quality homes in good locations available at affordable rents and I would encourage local people to take a look at what is on offer.”

Further information on properties available and guidelines for viewing can be found on the Warwick District Council website.
