Work with us Wednesdays - Understand skills, education and employment (SEE) commitments

About this Event

Part of a series of Onboardlocal Webinars brought to you by High Speed (HS2) Ltd that aim to help local businesses navigate the HS2 supply chain and better understand some of the things that we are looking for from suppliers.
We want local businesses along the line of the new high speed railway to be able to make the most of the opportunities HS2 will bring, and get involved in the supply chain wherever they can.

HS2 provides a fantastic opportunity to create new jobs and up-skill Britain’s existing workforce. The Skills, Employment and Education (SEE) activities of our supply chain are crucial in helping to achieve this. Our collaborative effort will leave a legacy of a highly skilled and diverse workforce able to deliver HS2 and future projects.

During this free webinar an expert from HS2 Ltd will:

  • Explain the areas of focus across HS2 on skills, employment and education
  • Provide you with an introduction to the skills, employment and education strategy which sets out how we are working with our supply chain
  • Guide you through some examples of the ways that your business could stand out by helping us to deliver on our SEE ambitions.
  • Spend some time answering your questions

Book your tickets now.

Date and time: Wednesday 12 August, 11:00 - 11:45

We will be publishing video recordings of each webinar online, so if you are not able to listen live you can still learn about each topic through a dedicated playlist on the HS2 YouTube channel.
