West Midlands Levy Transfer Celebration

Organiser

West Midlands Combined Authority

Location

IET Austin Court,
80 Cambridge Street, Birmingham B1 2NP
United Kingdom
GB

In March, WMCA were the first combined authority in the country to launch a £40m levy transfer scheme, which directed unspent apprenticeship levy funds from large businesses towards SMEs.

Within 6 months, with the tremendous response from many levy paying employers, we have been able to support well over 100 apprentices in SMEs across the West Midlands.

To celebrate this achievement, I would like to personally invite you to a showcase event on the 15 November 2019.

Hear from employers how apprenticeship levy transfer can help support your supply chain, support your own workforce or, as a training provider, deliver more apprenticeships to customers.

Agenda to include;

  • WMCA funding updates
  • Impact of the levy transfer scheme
  • A business donating levy perspective
  • Case studies from training providers, SMEs and apprentices
  • Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) updates
  • Networking

You can find directions to the event here.
