Moving Towards the Future: The Role of Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in Transforming Societies

Holiday Inn, 212 Abbey End
Kenilworth Kenilworth
United Kingdom

Tuesday 24th & Wednesday 25th March 2020

You are invited to the 2-day International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship’s UK Think Tank III – an opportunity to explore, debate and identify developments in entrepreneurial ecosystems to enhance their successful role in transforming societies with an international, diverse mix of attendees from educational institutions, policy makers and industry.

Entrepreneurs act in vibrant environments where the creation and exchange of new knowledge leads to crucial changes and innovation. In such entrepreneurial ecosystems, key elements are continuously changing and the degree of complexity can be overwhelming. With this level of complexity, the starting up, or scaling-up, of a business requires a team effort to make sure that the correct needs of customers are identified, that the proposals to address those needs add sufficient value, that changes are made in a timely manner, and that the impact of such planned activities can indeed be measured. Consequently, the entrepreneurial ecosystems become an “instrument” of survival and growth for an entrepreneur.

The International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE) believes that sharing and debating possible future alternative solutions from a multi-disciplinary basis, proactive ideas and opportunities will lead to creating future sustainable socio-economic development. ICTE is, therefore, leading discussions through its international think tanks (which are open entrepreneurial laboratories) focusing on potential current and future entrepreneurial solutions for sustainable socio-economic development in regions locally and globally. These think tanks seek to identify suitable means to translate this thought leadership into a stream of appropriate outputs and disseminate these outputs to governments, industry and educational institutions who are either directly and/or indirectly involved in the promotion of entrepreneurship.
