This is for the makers, creators, innovators + game changers
As we fast approach what’s been termed the 4th industrial revolution, the future of engineering and manufacturing is at the cusp of huge change. From AI to sustainable ecological concerns the choices we make now will affect those futures, so now’s the time to approach it creatively.
Whether you’re a STEM student, apprentice, or just obsessed with future tech, this summer Make UK (formerly EEF) invites you to come discover and participate in a truly unique experience, The Makers Meet. A one day festival filled with interactive activities, immersive talks, performance showcases, networking opportunities, creative ideas workshops and much more.
We have worked collaboratively with apprentices and young engineers like you to bring you 5 conceptual zones designed to channel and inspire thought-provoking engagement; Maker’s Mainstage, Tech Zone, Great Idea Garden, Culture Runway and Create Change Circle. All housed in Birmingham's famous Custard Factory.
Included in the line-up for the day talks from:
With many more speakers and panel talks to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
