Make it Green: Planning for a Post-Covid-19 Green Recovery
Organiser
Midlands and East of England Manufacturing Businesses prepare for a Green Recovery and business growth.
About this Event
This online event will cover key information and facts about how to embark on a green recovery and growth strategy for your manufacturing business. Our sector is responsible for half of the UK industry's greenhouse gas emissions and is therefore in the Government's and society's eye when looking to achieve net zero. As business re-evaluates its situation following the Coronavirus pandemic, manufacturers can take the opportunity to build-in green resilience to their recovery and growth strategies by integrating sustainability and net zero considerations. We will explore how to introduce sustainable considerations but also how to take advantage of the growing market for business solutions and more sustainable consumerism.
We will be joined by one of the members of Make UK's Net Zero Working Group, the Energy Consultancy Engie and successfully sustainable Make UK members in the Midlands and East of England, Vitsœ and Charpack who share their experience.
What will be covered?
In this session we will hear how manufacturers can implement net zero and sustainable considerations to be more resilient and drive business growth.
This session will also aid Make UK's voice into the Government, Climate Change Committee and other relevant bodies to support our sector's ambitions.
