This important webinar brings together experts on financial wellbeing and human resources to launch the ‘Getting Workforces Saving: Payroll Schemes with Credit Unions’ research undertaken by the Financial Inclusion Centre and funded by the Money and Pensions Service.
The national event will outline the findings of this study with two large employers Leeds City Council and NHS York, evidencing the benefits of payroll deduction as a mechanism for encouraging staff to save regularly and foster positive behaviours that increases financial resilience and can help protect against financial shocks.
Along with the launch of the research, the webinar will include an outline of the national perspective in terms of workers and their finances, and details on how payroll schemes practically operate including the experience from both employers and employees already using such schemes.
