About your Local Leader: Nyasha Pitt

Nyasha Pitt is a creative, commercial communicator with more than two decades’ experience across diverse industries. She is an effective and proven executive coach and accredited Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner. She provides communications and coaching services via her consultancy, Living Content Ltd.

A talented copywriter, Nyasha regularly provides editorial content and opinion pieces to a number of titles; she is also a contributing writer for leading jewellery title Professional Jeweller.

She has worked both in-agency and in-house supporting B2B, B2C and public-sector communication strategies for brands including Birmingham Assay Office, Butlins, National Express, English Heritage, Land Securities, London Taxi Company (now LEVC), Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Warburton’s, Enterprise Inns, Brains Brewery, Spirit and Marston’s.

Nyasha is a fierce women’s advocate and amplifier of female voices; she is Communications Director of the Women’s Jewellery Network.

Nyasha is also a diversity champion and engaging, sought-after public speaker on issues pertaining to race equality and inclusion. She also delivers consultancy to blue-chip organisations on how they can improve in-house D&I strategies with a focus on company and personal branding, communication and integration.

Nyasha is the founder of iDNetwork, a new business network for black professionals in the Midlands. She is passionate about creativity, equality, mentoring and volunteering.

Nyasha is a Lay Trustee and Vice-Chair at Warwick Students Union and Chair of the Communications sub-committee for West Midlands Mayor Andy Street’s Inclusive Leadership initiative.
